All the systems listed below are based on Open Source applications and operating systems and are therefore licence free. However, Microsoft operating systems can also be loaded as virtual machines, rapidly providing addtional Microsoft resources when you require them. In such cases, you would need to purchase the appropriate Microsoft operating system (and client acccess licences where required). Configuration OptionsSystem 1. - (2 Virtual Machine System) configured to provide:VM1: Primary Domain Controller with full LDAP User authentication and access permissions, Samaba File and Print Services VM2: Mailserver, with SMTP delivery, IMAP/POP3 mailbox support, Anti Spam, Anti-Virus System 2. - (4 Virtual Machine System) configured to provide:VM3: EGroupware to provide web-mail, document sharing, calendar sharing, address book sharing, time sheets, work-flow, project management etc, meeting rooms booking, MySQL Database. VM4: FTP Server configured to allow remote and internal FTP file upload access. This is particularly suitable where customers need to receive large files from their clients, such as printers, graphic designers etc. VM5: Linux Terminal Server to provide Server-based access to programs such as Open Office or programs of your choice. This saves the application having to be installed n each desktop machine. VM6: MySQL Database Server. Compatible with supporting most SQL type databases, again this is free software and used extensively in industry and ideal for customer CRM systems. |
