  NetSupport DNA Software Inventory

DNA Software Inventory provides all the information you will need to manage your software assets. Whether it is for reporting on your licence compliance, finding out if you are wasting money on un-used licenses or assisting with technical support incidents, DNA Software Inventory provides accurate and up to date information to help you.

DNA uses multiple information sources to arrive at its software inventory output, providing accuracy without the unhelpful reporting 'noise' of other systems. This reduces the time you need to spend generating useable reports.

As with DNA Hardware Inventory, Software Asset information is collected automatically from the client, written to the database and made accessible through the Console.

The information can be used to organise PCs / Servers into Dynamic Groups, based on SQL selection statements, which the user can generate easily with the English language query editor. These groups can be based on one or multiple collected software inventory data points.

A range of standard reports have been created in Crystal reporting.

Here is an example of the DNA Console Software Inventory panel for a PC showing application types, with recognisable icons associated with them.
