Opalis IP for HP OpenView Operations
Optimize Service Levels and Reduce System Downtime
Opalis Integration Server connects data center components to automate processes in a way that's simple, fast and effective. The Opalis Integration Pack for HP OpenView enables you to automate problem management processes and maintenance procedures to optimize service levels and reduce overall system downtime.
Automate Problem and Incident Management Routines Faster
The Opalis Integration Pack for OpenView Operations allows users to monitor for key messages and take automated diagnostic or corrective actions. This creates trouble tickets pre-populated with any existing OVO message data and collected diagnostics. Opalis also provides users with simple, yet sophisticated tools to dynamically decide what actions should be taken, to whom critical messages should be assigned, and whether to notify via email, pager, cell phone or trouble ticketing systems such as HP Service Desk.
Automate Maintenance Tasks and Suppress OVO Messages
Field staff members need access to message suppression capabilities for both scheduled outages of managed servers as well as ad hoc maintenance periods such as fire-fighting and troubleshooting. The Opalis Integration Pack for HP OVO automates the toggle of maintenance modes and provides access to such features through Opalis policies, or through remote interfaces such as email or pager.
Coordinate and Consolidate Events between Help Desk and Monitoring Applications
Using the Opalis Integration Pack for HP OpenView along with Integration Packs for other monitoring and service management, Opalis can automatically consolidate and coordinate events between system management products.
