Automate User Provisioning Requests
With the Integration Pack for Microsoft Active Directory you can automatically create new users from a web request form, help desk system such as Remedy ARS, or from an email. The request will automatically be put through an approval process and all changes will be tracked in the CMDB.

Automate Password Reset
Users forget their passwords often and service desk administrators have their plates full. Use Opalis Integration Server to automatically reset and send passwords upon request. With Opalis you will minimize user downtime and increase service desk staff efficiency.

Notify Users of Outages
When a server goes down, Opalis Integration Server will automatically notify users when the system is down and when it is back up. Service desk staff can work on fixing the incident without distraction, reducing downtime.

Policies
1. Automatic password reset

This Policy waits for a password reset request in Remedy AR System. It then looks up the user and resets their password. After the password has been reset, an email is sent to the user with the temporary password and the Remedy request is closed.

2. Create New User Accounts

This Policy retrieves a request via email for a new user account to be created. An email is sent to a manager for approval. When the approval is received, the new user is created and a password is generated for them. The account details are sent to the manager as well as the person who requested the new account.   

3. Delete Old Users

This Policy queries the list of disabled users every night. Any account that has been inactive for an entire quarter will be deleted from the Active Directory domain.
