I.T. Infrastructure Support Contracts

Optimus provide bespoke support contracts for small business (up to 50 PCs), where it is not cost effective to maintain a permanant in-house I.T. support staff.

By using the very best in Remote Control software, we are able to take advantage of today's high speed Internet connections and provide a very high level of support from our offices, with over 90% of problems being resolved remotely and usually within 10 minutes of the Incident having been submitted.

Our service is very competitive with prices based on the number of supported PCs and users, number and type of Servers and network infrastructure.

The contract provides the following services:

• One free on-site House keeping day per year, typically used for maintenance and upgrade work.
  
• Reduced rate on-site engineer days to provide installation, commissioning and configuration of new hardware and remedial action for existing hardware.
  
• Free advice for design and configuration of new I.T. solutions within your network
  
• Standard Office Hours technical assistance cover (09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday)
  
• Remote Technical Assistance for users with their day-to-day PC,  and server related problems, using sate of the art screen sharing Remote Control software. If possible, we actually fix the problem for the user while they watch.
  
• Remote Support for Mail Servers, Internet Gateways and firewall etc.
  
• Agreed Response times and protocols
  
• Formal logging of all Incidents in our on-line service desk system, with full status reports accessible to clients
  
• We keep a searchable knowledge-base of your support Incidents, which can assist with identification of systemic / repetitive problems and their remediation.

For a small company with 10 PCs, the annual miantenance contract cost would be £4,200
