Vector Asset Manager Client Deployment

All the modules of the Vector Asset manager use a single client which is centrally deployed, using one of several deployment methods as follows:

Automated Deployment on PC Detection

A scheduled service is configured to find PCs as they appear on the network and determine whether or not they have the client installed. If not and if they meet the pre-configured filter criteria of Domain Name , Node Name or IP Address Range, the client is then installed.

Interactive Client Deployment

There may be reasons why you do not wish to allow the automated client deployment to run, in which case you can deploy the client software manually but still from the central console.

The Deployment Manager window lists available PCs,  shows if they have the client software already installed and what version is installed.

Deploying to Actve Directory Organisational Units

The client can be deployed using  MSI installers run from Active Directory OU profiles. MSI installations are provided.
