Vector Asset Manager Reporting |
|
Collecting PC asset data is only of any use when it can be displayed and analysed to provide the results you need.
The Vector Asset Manager Console provides a range of default reports and several versatile reporting techniques.
-
The Console, with the new ability to not only create dynamic groups to display clients based on your selection criteria, but also, chose which data fields to display for the group itself, provides a very powerful reporting tool in it's own right. For example, you may wish to have a group showing only PCs which have a particular application installed, but for those PCs, display the software version and other information.
-
Crystal Reports. The Console provides a default selection of Crystal reports for all the most common types of output required and across the range of functionality for hardware & software Inventory, metering and historical changes.
-
HTML Reports. Using the default HTML template and the database query tool, the sure can create custom HTML pages, showing exactly the data they want. There is not requirement to actually write any HTML. Furthermore these reports can be written to a published area so that they are included in a company intranet site. Custom report creation can be a scheduled operation to update the pages daily, weekly etc.
-
CSV Exports. For those times when you wish to create your own reports or incorporate the data into other reporting applications, there is a simple but powerful export mechanism, which works in conjunction with the English Language SQL Query Builder.
